Geaux Tune is a tool designed for tuning PID controllers. It allows users to upload input-output data (open-loop plant data) to build a plant model, represented as a First-Order Plus Time Delay (FOPTD) transfer function 𝐺𝑝(𝑠). This transfer function captures the process dynamics, including the process gain, time constant, and time delay. Using 𝐺𝑝​, users can design a controller 𝐺𝑐 using several established tuning techniques, such as Ziegler-Nichols, Cohen-Coon, and Direct Synthesis, enabling efficient and effective controller design for a wide range of applications.
